Overspray Removal Specialists, Inc.

We are more than a car cleaning company.  As a full service national overspray claims Management Company we work with insurance companies, self-insured entities, and contractors all over the country to help reduce the liability exposure associated with overspray claims.

We accomplish this through a unique three step process of superior public relations, excellent documentation and state-of-the-art cleaning technology.

For over thirty-eight years we have removed paint, epoxies, urethane's, asphalt, tar, concrete, industrial fallout and other chemical contaminants from thousands of vehicles, boats and planes.  These airborne emissions are created by the painting of water towers, refineries, industrial plants, buildings, ships, cranes, storage tanks, bridges and other sources too numerous to mention.

Our system not only preserves original paint finishes, it also, in most cases, avoids the need to replace the trim panels, moldings, and glass and chrome parts.  This can save our clients millions of dollars that would normally be paid to auto body shops, car dealerships, boat dealers and aircraft maintenance facilities.

Public Relations

Reducing the liability on an overspray claim begins with the important first step, public relations.  To ensure claimant confidence we provide 24-hour 800 toll-free lines to answer questions, schedule appointments and solve problems.  Cleaning operations can be set up on most sites.  For more than thirty years we have gained extensive experience in handling overspray claims at vehicle import and export facilities, auto makers, auto dealers, manufacturing facilities, ship yards, airports, chemical refineries, universities, and other business facilities throughout the nation.

Our on-site management staff will meet with the claimants at times convenient to their work schedules.  They will provide information sheets, demonstrate our cleaning process, and answer inquiries.  They will also inspect and test claimants’ vehicles, schedule appointments and secure releases of satisfaction when the work is completed.

Vehicles will be cleaned on-site, often under a tent, by our skilled and uniformed technicians while the claimants are at work and will be completed before they leave work the same day.

Because of our successful public relations efforts, most claimants will wish to have us clean their vehicles on site, eliminating the high cost of auto rentals.  Our on-site work also reduces the claimants’ exposure to car dealerships and auto body shops, where they are often told they need a new paint job and replacement of moldings and trim panels, and bumpers.  These costs can run thousands of dollars on an average size car.

Documentation

Documentation is the next step in the formula used to reduce the liability associated with an overspray claim.  Vehicles are thoroughly inspected before the cleaning process begins, and claimants sign pre-inspection reports which clearly separate prior damage unrelated to the overspray claim.  Parts of the vehicle that can not be cleaned are also noted on the work order for future adjustments.

The information about the claimant, the oversprayed vehicle and the name of the cleaning technician are also placed on a permanent data base for future reference.

After the cleaning, releases signed by satisfied claimants help to further reduce future liability problems.  A photo of the cleaned vehicle with the license plate visible adds to the documentation record.  Lab analysis is also available.

State-Of-The-Art Cleaning

State-Of-The-Art cleaning is the third and final step in our liability reduction program.  Our cleaning process eliminates the use of inferior cleaning methods such as buffing machines, compounds, solvents, razor blades, wet sand paper and clay bars, which can damage a vehicles surface.  Our unique cleaning process utilizes a soft rubber eraser pad which will not damage vehicle surfaces.  Our skilled technician first washes away the overspray using our unique “rubber-eraser-pad” system.  These eraser pads effectively erase away the overspray from any smooth surface including glass, plastic, rubber, chrome and paint.

After the overspray is removed, a wax or sealant is applied to the painted surfaces and then the exterior of the vehicle is hand detailed.

Our state-of-the-art technology has been utilized nationwide to solve thousands of overspray claims.  With more than 30 years of overspray claims management and cost containment we are able to save insurance companies, contractors and self-insured entities up to 75% of potential claims costs.
